What's going on in Major League Baseball?

We are now two weeks into the early 2008 MLB season, and I am having a tough time feeling these teams out thus far. I mean, instead of the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians showing us that they will be battling for a playoff spot all season, they are at the bottom of the division while the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals are at the top. Should the Tigers and Indians be worried with only 13,14, or even 15 games into the season. YES, I say! Umm, what else is going on...oh yeah, the Florida Marlins of course are playing great baseball. I mean why wouldn't they be, the nation questions what they are doing with dumping their top players for financial reasons, and they come right back and play well. Why are we so surprised, they do this on the regular. David Ortiz can't even bat half his weight so far. Everyone is saying that he must be exhausted from public appearances after winning the World Series a year ago in the off season, or the trip to spring training, then to Japan, then back to spring training then to Oakland. Come on D.O.! Your a designated hitter, you bat once every 2 or 3 innings, barely run, and then sit your fat ass back on the bench. This isn't much! Suck it up! The Uptons are the best baseball brother combo in the history of the game! Wow are they nice! And finally, I love watching the Tampa Bay Rays this year. They are really a very fun team to watch. Young, talented, and they play with this energy that glues you to the television. Though, they are last in the East Division at the moment, their young pitching staff will only get better as the year goes on with some experience and the addition of stud Scott Kazmir, when he gets his injury problems solved. That is all let me know what you think is interesting that is happened thus far.

The only thing interesting in the baseball world right now is the Pitbull got his Portland Highlanders off to a 4-0 start and looking to take over the Shoreline Conference. I've been getting feedback from a bunch of sources and it has been confirmed that are conference sucks and is mine for the taking. Keep you updated.
