Just in...

With my World Series preview coming tomorrow, I was just notified that Tim Wakefield of the Boston Red Sox will be left off the World Series roster because of a bad shoulder, while the Colorado Rockies have added Aaron Cook to their roster and will pitch game 4 in Colorado. Also, ESPN has reported that Terry Francona has decided to keep young phenom Jacoby Ellsbury in the starting lineup. I am sure this wasn't a hard decision considering the terrible play of Coco Crisp, and the Boston faithful would have never have forgive Terry if they saw Coco in centerfield and they lost game one because his slump had continued. With Wakefield out this is pretty interesting to me. Wake has been fighting back problems for a while and after his 4+ inning against the Indians in game 4 probably didn't help with being fully recovered. So who now will be the game 4 starter? My guess is that it'll be the young Jon Lester, since they really have no one else, unless Beckett can go!
