Are you Smarter than .........?

Congrats to Gary for successfully getting the first question of Are you Smarter than...? Since I teach predominately 10th graders it will be rare that you will see an elementary problem such as that one. This weekend's topic deals with sequences and hails from my Algebra II class.

Find the next 3 numbers to the sequence {3, -1, -3, -3, -1, 3, 9,.....}
