NBA Finals

The most potent offensive team verses the NBA's most dominant defensive team. The league MVP looking for his 4th ring verses a great trio of all-stars looking for their first. The best rivalry of the 20th century faces off tonight in Boston as the Celtics with the league's best record faces the number 1 seed of the Western Conference in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Obviously the key factor of this series is how the Celts will stop or slow down Bryant. Personally, I don't think that that is possible. I will say this talking about factors, Boston must...MUST win Game 1. Because I really believe that this series could go to the Lakers in 5 games or to Boston in 7. And, if Boston comes out nervous and looking terrible on defense they have no shot in this series. Another key factor for the Celtics is the play of everybody else besides their "BIG 3". Rajon Rondo who I absolutely never show love for, can't make key turnovers and must be confident in his shot. I wouldn't care so much because he is a terrible shooter, but when he passes up on "by yourself" 15 footers, your playing right into the Lakers hands. On the Lakers side of the ball I really think that all they need to do is play like they did in Utah. Utah, is one of the better rebounding teams in the league as are the Celts, and a lot has been mentioned that the Lakers are terrible off the boards. Rebound the ball and keep your possessions and things will certainly favor them.

Now let's have some fun. My all-time Boston Celtics / LA Lakers starting squads...
